I may be rather cynical about BlueHost. I tried their product and it was disappointing. I’m detailed oriented and I did my research before finally choosing BlueHost. I could have gone to another company that would have hosted, designed, and managed my website, but I wanted to do most of it myself. But I haven’t had a time when I didn’t have some type of problem and the BlueHost help desk is not the most patient group to resolve a problem. I was so busy working on hosting problems, that it stalled my efforts to design my website. When I went with BlueHost, I hoped for more than what I got. Sometimes, you won’t know about a company until you have to depend on them.

I was in a bind. My company used to host their own website, but cutbacks required us to serious consider our marketing approach. A few cynics were not convinced of online marketing, especially after the .com crisis, so they questioned the value of our website and hosting efforts. Besides, past cuts had already impacted our reliability. So we almost scratched that whole segment of our business. I worked with the BlueHost sales team and created a plan to have our website and hosting efforts outsourced. We were able to cut back on the costs of running our own network while maintaining and growing our online marketing campaign. Since then, we have not questioned the value of the internet in our company.

I don’t know how to thank Bluehost enough for their support. I had a friend attempt to make my website better. As a result, my website fell apart. I called Bluehost with my problem and they were able to use a backup to restore my website to before the problem was made. In addition, Bluehost help me understand their site builder software so that I could make the changes I was hoping to have. Now my website works, is better than it was, and I’m confident that I can improve it myself and not have friends work on it. Thank you.

I work as a manager for customer service with a major manufacturing company and I don’t typically find customer service that exceeds my expectations, but Bluehost has done it. Our website went down and since most of our business is online, this was a big deal. With inquiries coming through me from every direction, I immediately called customer support at Bluehost. I quickly got to a live person and they found the problem and resolved it while I was on the phone. Before I hung up, our website was up and running again. The experience was delightful and friendly.

I don’t usually attempt to write one of these reviews, but the technical staff of BlueHost deserves some praise. I’m very critical and cautious by nature, so when a problem started on our website and had to call Bluehost, I did not make it easy for them. But their friendliness and patience in responding to my questions intelligently helped to resolve the problem as well as gain another dedicated customer.
